2022年11月から2024年10月の期間、ていね泌尿器科・ていね駅前泌尿器科でCobas TV/MGを施行した症例96例の臨床的検討を後方視的に行った。対象症例の年齢は17歳から75歳で平均35.4歳、全例男性であった。96例中48例は初診時にCobas TV/MGを施行、残りの48例は2回目以降の診療で検査を施行していた。27例（28.1%）でMycoplasma genitalium （MG）が陽性となり、Trichomonas vaginalis （TV）は1例（1%）であった。MG陽性例27例のうち、MG単独感染が19例（70.3%）、クラミジア合併例が7例（25.9%）、クラミジアと淋菌の合併例が1例（3.7%）であった。MG陽性となる症例の頻度は過去の報告と比較して高く、男性の尿道炎診療においては初診時からMG検査を行うことが望ましいと考えられた。
We retrospectively analyzed 96 cases who underwent Cobas TV/MG testing at Teine Urological Clinic and Teine Ekimae Urological Clinic from November 2022 to October 2024. All patients were male, with an age range of 17–75 years, with an average age of 35.4 years. Of these, 48 cases were tested at the initial consultation, and the remaining 48 were tested during follow-up visits. Mycoplasma genitalium (MG) was detected in 27 cases (28.1%), and Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) was found in 1 case (1.0%). Among the MG-positive cases, 19 (70.3%) had MG infection alone, 7 (25.9%) were co-infected with Chlamydia, and 1 (3.7%) was co-infected with both Chlamydia and gonorrhea. The rate of MG-positivity in this cohort was higher than previously reported. Therefore, MG testing should ideally be included at the initial visit when diagnosing male urethritis.
