A 38-year-old man who had experienced recurrent episodes of condyloma acuminatum despite various treatments at his primary care clinic over several years was referred to our hospital due to the presence of a series of recurrent lesions extending into the urethra through the external urethral orifice. As there was no marked improvement following conservative management, the patient underwent transurethral tumor ablation targeting the intraurethral lesion. Eight months after surgery, recurrence within the urethra was observed, necessitating a second transurethral ablation. We present the clinical course of this case along with a brief review of the literature on the diagnosis and treatment of intraurethral condyloma acuminatum.
Key words: condyloma acuminatum; intraurethral lesions; transurethral ablation; urethral tumors
